About us
Who we are
Camp Eco Foundation is a Telangana-based non-profit registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 — set up to work on climate change from both ends: policy and the ground.
Why we exist
Adaptation isn't shared equally
Climate change doesn't affect everyone equally. The communities with the fewest resources to adapt are often the ones facing the sharpest risks — unpredictable monsoons, water stress, and shrinking agricultural margins among them.
Camp Eco Foundation was set up to close that gap from two directions at once: by engaging directly with the governments and institutions that shape climate policy, and by working alongside the communities who live with the consequences of that policy — or the lack of it.
We don't treat these as separate jobs. Evidence from our community programs informs the positions we take in policy conversations, and the partnerships we build at the policy level open doors for the work we do on the ground.

Our approach
What guides the work
Evidence first
Programs are grounded in research, documentation, and field data — not assumptions about what communities need.
Community-led
We design programs with the people they affect, drawing on local knowledge rather than working around it.
Policy-engaged
Ground-level insight is fed back into advocacy and policy conversations, not left in a field report.
Built to partner
We work through governments, institutions, NGOs, and corporates rather than in isolation.
